Us Pet Shipping proudly supports a range of animal welfare and community support organizations.
Us Pet Shipping proudly supports a number of organizations that promote animal and human welfare including the Guide Dogs and Canine Companions for Independence
Both of these wonderful organizations support our community by breeding, raising and training dogs which are provided to people with disabilities or special needs. Both organizations operate without government funding, and can only survive with community and corporate support. Please see their websites for more information, and consider them when organizing your next community fund raiser.
Natural disasters often result in family pets being misplaced or lost. Us Pet Shipping donated hundreds of travel crates to the rescue effort for Hurricane Katrina, helping hundreds of family pets to be cared for, transported and re-homed. We have also provided crates and transport services for animals affected by fires, floods, tornadoes and other natural disasters.
Move for Hunger helps to feed those in need by donating food to food-banks throughout the USA and Canada.
Many food items are not suitable for relocation, and unfortunately a lot of food is thrown away when families move. Move for Hunger works with Moving Companies to ensure that non-perishable food items are properly packed and delivered to local food banks for distribution to those in need. When choosing a Mover, please search for a participating Mover on the Move for Hunger website.
We support expat organizations such as the Australian-American Chamber of Commerce (including Board & Committee roles), the British-American Business Council, and German American Business Association. This interaction with expats from all over the world helps us to support them when it’s time to safely relocate their pets back to the home country.
Through our involvement with a number of Industry groups and organizations, we also support the many charity and community programs supported by each Industry group. These include scholarship programs, food banks, hospitals, cancer research, and refuge centers, just to name a few.
